Myself and a few other Boston area photographers were chosen by City Hall to create some photographic images of Patriot’s Day 2011, to capture the essence of this great Massachusetts holiday. There was a huge number of topics to cover ranging from the Boston Marathon to marches and reenactments in Lexington, Concord, Paul Revere’s ride, and the Red Sox had a game. The list went on but I decided to start with the parade in Concord and move on to some coverage of the Marathon, but I placed an emphasis on capturing what Bostonians and tourists were doing in and around the city on this great day. I have created a slideshow to view some of these images or you can scroll down to see a few samples.
These photographs will make it to the Recent Work page of my website soon in addition to my facebook site and my flickr site. Images will also be available for purchase on my WECphotos.SmugMug site.
