I was out shooting over the Charles River a couple weeks ago while Melodie was sailing with CBI. It turned out to be a beautiful late afternoon to shoot all the boats and the lighting created during sunset.

I recently went on a trip up to Portland, ME for their Taste of the Nation event. On the way we stopped in Cape Porpoise Harbor for a quick bite at the Ramp restaurant and did a little stroll onto the pier. Here is just a couple of shots from that trip. I also threw in what I think is a really beautiful B&W shot of two cousins, sons of the friends we stayed with and the couple we traveled up to Portland with.

A fantastic 4th of July along the Charles River in Boston – Cambridge side. We got down to the Charles around 1pm to stake our claim to my favorite area for photographing the 4th in Boston; had a very hot but worthwhile day waiting for the fireworks to begin. What an incredibly lucky day with a light wind, a great rainbow just at the beginning of sunset and an amazing sunset to top it off.

The fireworks were amazing as always. I have just begun my post-production on the 400+ images after the first edit. So keep posted via my facebook page or check out the growing gallery on my WECPhotosSmugMug page. I'll be posting some to my fickr page as well.
