Well the 1 week documentary workshop in Toronto with Chien-Chi Chang and Magnum Photos was really amazing and inspiring. Though the two stories I had researched before arriving completely collapsed I created a short photo essay on Movement in Toronto. It was a wonderful way to meet residents and get to know the city pretty well in such a short period of time. Here are the few images that were chosen to go into the slideshow of all the students work at the end of the week.
Ferry boat arrival to Toronto Island
Boat Terminal
Commuters
Moving Traffic - camera mounted to the rear of my bicycle.
Busy walker.
Construction Elevator - Foreman.
Crossing Trolley tracks.
Night cleaning.
The workshop was inspirational not only on the very self-motivational and creative levels but just amazing to be surrounded by such a wave of phenomenal talent continuing to follow their work dreams through all that has changed recently in the journalist and documentary photography realm.
