Pi Pizzeria

Evan & Maria Marley, owners of Pi Pizzeria on Nantucket, asked me to come in and photograph pretty much everything about their restaurant. This meant the food, staff, the bar, dining rooms, ambiance, their great take-out patio, drinks and even a perfectly created cappuccino that I gulped down afterwards to help me through the rest of the shoot. We organized two different shoots: one later in the evening for a little bar and dining room ambience and the second shoot early afternoon to create some superb food, interior and drink photographs.

The two of them were looking for images that would better represent not just their food and style but better display the feeling and experience that their guests walk away with when dining at their great restaurant. As always, I seem to have created and delivered more images than was probably necessary, but I believe we ended up with some fantastic images to use in the end for their future website and advertising.
