Fine Art

The subject matter of Wayne’s fine art images varies drastically according to what graphically inspires him. Most of Wayne’s early training was in using black in white film and the real dark room, and he hopes to return to the beginning sooner than later. But for now he has found that he loves the creation of digital B&W images in the editing and post-production processes. He is devoted to capturing superb subjects that will be stunning in either B&W or Sepia Tone.

However, he cannot ignore the splendor of color in many subjects he captures. In the winter of 2010-2011 he accidentally left some flowers in the house near one of his heaters for a few too many days and was stunned with how subtle the texture changes were. So he began creating very intimate macro lens images of different flowers as he aged them in the house over the winter.

For Wayne photography is a form of insight more than anything else. If one really begins to look at the world via a brain-wrapped-around-a-lens they begin to see many things differently. The mundane can be immensely beautiful when viewed differently and photographed correctly. Wayne’s goal with his Fine Art imagery is to create tactile textured images that draws his audience into a more intimate viewing of his work while positively changing the environment his pieces are incorporated into.
