I had the great opportunity to photograph the 65 mile ride from beginning to end while cycling in the event as well. Melodie and I made our fundraising goal thanks to some great donors.
It was a cooker of a day with the temperature reaching the upper 80’s with some pretty awful humidity, but myself and all the other riders made it. This year was the biggest turn out for riders in all categories: the 65, 25 and 15 mile rides. If you don’t know anything about BNB check out their website.
As always the Green Roots Festival was held from noon to 5:30 at the Stony Brook Station (orange line T) on the Southwest Corridor Park. There was some great food, great sponsor booths, and some great drum bands.
To see the full set of images, go to my WECPhotosSmugMug page and click on the BNB gallery.
50% of all print sales will be donated to BikesNotBombs.
Enjoy and let me know what you think!!
